Sight-Hound is owned by freelance illustrator Jane Spencer, who set up the business in 2016 when she decided that she wanted to incorporate screen printing into her work. With stockists all over the UK (15 or so independent shops at the moment) the business is thriving.
The name Sight-Hound is inspired by her dog, Baxter. He’s a whippet- which is a sighthound, defined as: dogs that hunt by sight and speed… this seems to sum up the brand’s keen and sharp-eyed house style.
